Inkwell Veterinary Emergency Clinic — Terms & Conditions

1. Authorization for Examination & Treatment
By completing our intake form, you authorize the veterinary team at Inkwell Veterinary Emergency Clinic to examine, diagnose, and administer treatment to your pet. In situations where your pet requires immediate intervention and you cannot be reached, you authorize our team to take whatever action is reasonably necessary to stabilize and protect your pet's wellbeing.
2. Financial Responsibility
You acknowledge that you are financially responsible for all services rendered to your pet. Estimates will be provided whenever possible, and payment is expected at the time of service. Inkwell accepts all major credit cards, cash, and approved third-party payment plans. For questions about payment options, visit inkwell.vet/payments or speak with our team.
3. CPR & Emergency Resuscitation
We ask all clients to indicate their pet's CPR status at intake. This helps our team honor your wishes in an emergency. You may update this decision at any time by speaking directly with any member of our care team.
4. Photo & Social Media
If you have granted permission on your intake form, Inkwell may feature your pet on our social media channels or website. We will never include your personal information alongside any photos. You may revoke this permission at any time by contacting us at hello@inkwell.vet.
5. SMS Messaging Service
By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Inkwell Veterinary Emergency Clinic for purposes including, but not limited to: Appointment confirmations, reminders, and schedule updates Waitlist registration and patient triage communication Medical care coordination and follow-up messages Occasional service updates or emergency alerts regarding clinic hours or availability Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's terms. We do not use SMS for unsolicited marketing messages or third-party advertising.
6. Message Frequency
You may receive multiple messages from us as part of your pet's active case, ongoing communication, or care coordination. Message frequency varies by the nature of your visit and your interaction with our team — typically up to 8 messages per month, though this may be higher during active patient care. Inkwell reserves the right to adjust message frequency as needed. Inkwell and participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier's plan. Please check with your carrier for details about your text messaging plan and any associated charges.
8. Privacy
Your information will be used solely for communication related to your pet's care and clinic services. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy at inkwell.vet/privacy.
9. Opt-Out Instructions
You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any Inkwell message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. To rejoin, text START at any time.

11. Liability
Inkwell Veterinary Emergency Clinic and its service providers are not responsible for any carrier charges related to SMS usage, message delivery delays or errors, or circumstances beyond our control including carrier outages or technical failures.
12. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in applicable law, carrier requirements, or clinic operations. The most current version will always be posted at inkwell.vet/terms-conditions.
